A Full Service Florist serving the Meriwether County area since 1976 The first thing to remember when placing your order is to be as general and open as possible. One reason for this is that flowers are usually better during certain parts of the year and not others. It is best to allow the florist to pick which types of flowers will be used so they can give you the best qaulity. Most flowers are available year round. In addition. different types of flowers only come in certain colors. You can specify the overall color or colors to use in the arrangement (e.g. spring colors, fall colors, pastels, purples, etc.), but allow the florist to pick the individual colors and flowers so that you can be given the best quality. Floral designers are very creative. Rather than try and specify the precise location of every flower in the arrangement, tell them what overall look you want (e.g. round, tall, A-shaped, lose and airy, etc.) and let them use their creativity to make the arrangement. The final result will be much better. Place your order early, especially for holidays. Placing the order several days in advance gives the floist time to order your flowers if they don't have them in stock. This will allow them to give you the freshest quality flowers. Florist can only get flowers delivered a couple of times each week, so by placing your order in advance, you have a better chance of geting the flowers you want. Make sure you have the complete street address of the person you are sending flowers to, including the zip code. Deliveries can not be made to "the house on the left on the street where John Boy used to live". In addition, have a phone number for the recipient so that the florist can contact them and make deliery arrangements. This is much easier and cheaper than having the florist make several trips to try and catch the person at home. Don't request a specific delivery time such as 3:20 p.m. Florist will do their best to get the item delivered on the delivery date, but unforeseen events such as funerals, weather or traffic can affect delivery.
